Pre-Press and File Intervention Services

Our highly trained electronic pre-press staff will analyze your files and prepare them for printing. Years of experience, combined with the latest hardware and software technology advances in pre-press, production and printing help us deliver top-quality pre-press services.

File transfer options include FTP drop and retrieval, plus small file e-mail. The SWPP workflow processes your files through Preflight software to help prevent costly intervention and additional time. We accept either Mac or PC versions of common file formats and PDF workflow. When requested, we can intervene using our archives of the same software applications your designer or staff use.

Our initial focus is to create "perfect single pages" and then create bindery impositions that are cost-effective. We’ll also provide the kind of full-coverage proofing that assures your vision and artwork match the final product.

The SWPP workflow uses the RamPage ripping system and Preps imposition software. Every job gets a digital Epson color proof using the full press sheet imposition on 28" x 40" and, if requested, a digital Epson matchprint quality proof as well. The proofs you see are exactly the same files and bindery impositions our presses run.

Finally, we’ll archive your job to make future access easy and to provide cost savings for our clients who reprint or wish to make low-cost alterations to previously printed projects. We also offer CD duplication, e-mail distribution and electronic page distribution, as well as digital asset management and print media fulfillment services.
